Multi-sport event is a competition in which athletes complete in a number of different sports. The first multi-sport event organized were the Olympic games which is organized by the international Olympic committee for the first time in 1896. These games were held in Scandinavia and the sports was generally conducted on winter sports like speed skating and country skiing. Nordic games were one of the first international muti sport event that is focused on winter sports. It was organized by the Sweden's central association for the permotion of sports and it was held at varying intervals between 1901 and 1926.
